Menjelang Hari Raya

Assalamualaikum :)
Awal minggu depan dah raya..wuhoo!.. jadi Selamat Hari Raya untuk semua. Selamat bercuti dan berjumpa keluarga serta sanak saudara. Aku pun nak minta maaf kalau ada sebarang coretan yang menyinggung rasa, kalau ada, tak sengaja..hadir di sini sekadar berkongsi dan bertemu mesra.

Kepada pembaca yang nak bertanya, jangan segan silu email. Minat serius or just nak tahu no problem..just shoot an email. I treat everyone like a friend. Jgn risau I'm not some overzealous sales person meeting a target. I know I've been there, this person keep emailing me..so jadi ke tak?? A few times! So annoying. Thanks to those who had kindly write in ye.

To wrap this week's Happy blog's update, here are some projects I had successfully delivered. These corporate gifts were a personal gift to a main tv station. Happy Gift Pack consist of vanilla cakes with raspberry jam filling top with glossy icing & sugar flowers. Comes in lovely packaging and design. Size of a half kilo cake. Kalau half kilo kedai jual from RM25-RM28. Yang ni harganya belas-belas jek.

Projek siap malam. The lights are bad, susah sket nak dapat photos yang takde ugly shadow..plus tukang masak dah penat :P

More cakes

A friend requested these for his mom's birthday. It was a late night delivery which then dipanjangkan ke sessi bersahur, bergelak, berborak..until I felt like I will accidently tertido kat meja mamak tu. Hehe..

















A close family friend celebrating her 11th year anniversary with husband. And my cousin Abg Yadi's simple birthday cakes. We all ate it after the tahlil. Some of the color didn't match very
well. Will note this in the future.

















Tahlil cupcakes. I figure fancy icing will look inapropriate, plus people who already berbuka will prefer going for a simple, soft cake with a cup of tea. I can say it was a small hit.

Cupcakes in pretty boxes

Sample for my client's homemade corporate gift for Hari Raya. Masih dalam stage R&D. What do you think? Will be delivering her order hujung minggu ni.


















Aren't they cute? Very versatile gift untuk beraneka majlis. Pengganti gula-gula dan telur untuk kenduri kahwin, boleh juga dijadikan hantaran. Untuk majlis cukur jambul, any kenduri, birthday parties, majlis makan malam kempen amal, persidangan etc. Pokoknya majlis tentu ada kelainan dengan sentuhan fun dan bergaya. The guests, I think they will be thrilled to bring them home. Especially perempuan. Ye tak?

Icing, decoration, colors boleh customized ikut tema majlis. Harga seunit mengikut level of difficulties plus creativity fee. Takpe, if its a happy cake, it's happiness for everyone. Harga berpatutan. Sekarang pun dah ada yang request nak Elmo dan Sin Chan. Insya-Allah, I will get my hands on it as soon as I can. Tampal kat sini bila siap. Tengok la jadi Sin Chan ke belacan. Pineapple & Cheese

Ultimate Hawaiian. Soft pineapple cake with cream cheese topping. Yumm..

Assalamualaikum semoga semuanya sihat sejahtera berpuasa dan beribadah di bulan Ramadhan yang mulia ni. Salam Nuzul Quran juga. Agak tak berapa sihat sikit, satu kontijen kat rumah kurang sihat secara berperingkat-peringkat. Ingatkan kebal, tapi kena gak tempias-tempias sikit. Hehe.. Tapi Alhamdulillah everything is under control.

Orang sibuk buat tart nenas, aku buat cupcake nenas. Dah 2,3 hari teringin. Mengidam ke? Har.Har. Cari-cari resepi selalu je tak cukup bahan. Malas la pulak nak keluar membeli. Tiba-tiba terselak pulak resepi yang cukup sesuai. Hasilnya, taraa..seperti di atas. Masa kuar dari oven...masya-Allah, harumnya. Lembutnya. Berdenyut tekak ku!

Ada lagi a few cakes nak tampal sini, tapi blog photo ni meragam plak. Next entry jela.

Celebration Cake

Untuk harijadi daddy semalam. Untuk ulangtahun perkahwinan kami-peringkat bulanan. Untuk meraikan segala yang manis hari ini. Terima kasih banyak kat my dear husband. Semoga sentiasa dirahmati Allah berkat pengorbanan dan jasa baiknya.

Kek ni. Kek coklat yang senget. Tajuk sebenar black forest. Bila letak krim, barulah nampak rata dan licin. Berpeluh gak tangan aku yang keras ni nak betulkan krim tu. Terbayang muka chef yg ajar aku dulu. I enjoyed his class, and hopefully lekatlah ilmu yg aku belajar tu. Klik sini pada yg berminat.




Pardon the pink heart. Bosan? Aku pun. Haha.. Itu je yang ada at that time, perabiskan apa yang ada dulu. Mesti ada yang tertanya-tanya, rupa ada, rasa?

Rasa? Rasanya boley lah setakat nak makan kat rumah. Sesekali tergigit black cherry dan cokelat. For an amateur like moi, I guess memuaskan lah, although I need more practice and try different recipes. Kata my husband, daddy and Pae..sedap, sedap. Aku rasa cam need improvement. But OK la, I'm quite happy with the result.

Kali ni dah tade masalah storage lagi. Alhamdulillah.. :)

Weekend Sweetness

Last Saturday I baked a batch of chocolate cupcakes and decorated them for my cousin Sweet. It was challenging baking with one good arm as my left arm was on medical leave. Time ni lak nak tersalah urat kan? Nevertheless I consider the result agak memuaskan la although I had a slightly different idea on what I wanted to do exactly. Next time soon yer kak... :)




On Sunday, kitorang buka puasa di Keramat, at my parents. I baked another batch inspired by an engagement I saw at one of the local wonderful wedding FPs. When we reached there, a plate cross over the pagar to our neighbour's and in return kami dibalas pula dengan sepinggan nasi ayam panas Cik Jue. I just love Ramadhan!


Today is my dad's birthday. I've baked a chocolate cake, yet to decorate.
Semoga panjang umur daddy, sihat sentiasa & sayang selalu!
